The following section details lectures and teaching presentations that I have been invited to give, and workshops that I have either led or helped to lead.  The “Invited Lectures” section does not include classes that I have led as a student in the class, nor does it include any classes that I have taught as a teaching assistant.

“John Mandeville’s Travels.”  A three-class series covering the text of John Mandeville’s book, and considering the work in a context of medieval ideas of global geography. “Microhistory in Florence.” A class discussing Gene Brucker’s Giovanni and Lusanna, as well as academic critiques of Brucker’s approach and the potential advantages and problems with microhistory as a methodology.
